This charming, 2-piece ceramic Christmas tree was made in 1974 and features multi-color bulbs including red, blue, green, yellow, purple, pink and clear with a yellow star to adorn the top. The edges of the tree and base are flocked so it looks as if a new dusting of snow has just fallen. The tree measures 16" in height (not including the star) and 11" in width at the widest bottom portion. The bottom of the base is marked "Atlantic Mold 1974" and was signed with the artists initials and dated "1978".
The light cord has a toggle switch for easy on/off. Notable Flaws: there is a spot near the tip of the tree and on the base where the flocking material has chipped off so has left a rough edge to the touch; original owner seemed to use too big of bulbs in 5 of the holes so the bulbs do not come out; a couple holes have paint finish chipped off around the edges (could easily be touched up). Despite these minor flaws, this decoration is in nice, working condition and comes complete with all of the bulbs plus some extras. This is a lovely decoration sure to be enjoyed for many years to come!
