For Sale: Beautiful vintage 1950's-1960's Christmas Door Decoration with 23 original Spun Cotton, Be-Ribboned and Cardboard Ornaments in Original Box. This item consists of a large vinyl Door Panel made of Waterproof Vinyl Plastic 36" x 72" never used, it comes in the original box, brass eyelets on the edge of the door panel for attaching it to your door. Dress up your front door, walls or fireplace, fits standard door and easy to attach, can be used indoors or outdoors. It says on the box. The box also reads, Seasons Greetings Let Your Decorated Christmas Tree be Your Ambassador of Good Cheer. Each ornament has a metal clip attached to the back and there are factory punched small holes on the vinyl tree decorations, to attach the ornaments, easy to.
One ornament has a paper clip instead of a clip. Some ornaments have have something that is slightly loose.
Ornaments are made from felt or velveteen covered cardboard decorated with gold, red and green metallic paper embellishments, glued on, spun cotton heads, pipe cleaners tiny balls, ribbon and the composition berries you see on corsages. The 23 ornaments include 10 spun cotton head ornaments including. 2 Spun Cotton Head Pixies with Christmas Tree Hats, 4 one is missing tiny gold ball. Candy Cane decorations with small gold ball and ribbon bow 3.Corsage-Life Ornament with glittery holly leaves, gold and silver, decorated with composition berries, miniature pinecones and plastic santa in sleigh, approx. 2 - 2 half-ball covered in glitter, one silver, one gold with metallic leaves in various colors and ribbon bows on the back. 2 gift box ornaments, each decorated very prettily with Merry Christmas paper label, one of the ornaments in the center, something is missing and two 1/4" wires from the back are exposed, 3" tall. Wreath ornament made of bottle brush tree matterial, aqua with short gold and coral embellishments, and a red bow at the bottom 3. 8 Assorted spun cotton head ornaments, various characters, 3" - 4 - 4-1/2", one angel, 1 santa, 1 santa in xmas stocking, 1 snow man with broken plastic black top hat, elf with striped hat, elf with green hat and baby angel in powder blue hat, some staining and snowman in stocking.
1 circular ornament made of shiny red cardstock and pipe clean and gold trim in the center, half is crushed, small 1/4 edge tear. 1 hat ornament with 3 small balls. 1 gold paper star with color paper decorations.
1 red and white striped gift ornament with gold paper decorations and composition berries. 1 white plastic 3 bell cluster covered with white glitter and red glitter edging and red bow 2-1/2. These were all original ornaments that came in the original box with vinyl door decoration. The ornaments have various degrees of wear, some may have a bit of colored paper or foil with a small tear, or a bent down area on the cardboard, really check out the photos for condition. Original box has some creasing and bending around some of the edges, may have a small tear.
