Vintage Christmas Tree 20 multicolored Jelly Belly Moonstone Earring 40's

Really pretty vintage Christmas tree earrings. There are not for the faint of heart, they are attention getting and not the lightest earrings. I have read the 40's, unsure. I think one was replaced? I thought about getting them made into 2 brooches.
