This beautiful Christmas Tree is made with (mostly) vintage rhinestone costume jewelry. The jewelry is predominately clear, pink and turquoise rhinestones. The frame is vintage and is a silver color. The frame has a stand in back if you would like to place it a mantle or table.
You could also use an easel. It also has a hook for hanging. 9" x 11" outside with an opening approx. 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.
Please read below for further information about me and the trees I create. I've been crafting for years, and use to work as a designer in the scrapbook industry. During the pandemic, I started creating these trees with my vintage jewelry and fell in love with the process. I've now made around 200 of them! Way too many for me to keep, so I decided to share them here.
These trees are made with vintage jewelry from the 1900s through the 1980s with an some newer pieces used, particularly for the very small filler pieces (approximate ratio is 80 - 90% vintage and 10 to 20% newer). The frames I use are also vintage and/or recycled frames so although some may not be perfect, I select ones that are in good overall condition and I carefully match the fabric background and jewelry to go with the frame. Each tree has its own personality and is truly one of a kind. I use an industrial adhesive so pieces are permanently mounted.
The easel is not included. Items are photographed with an iPhone 12 pro max and no filters are applied. I think of these as heirloom pieces: the kind of thing family members will look forward to seeing each year, and that can be passed down through generations. Please note that because these are handmade pieces they might not be "perfect" but I think this is part of the charm.
Vintage jewelry may include a missing stone here or there or show usage. However I've carefully selected each piece and only use pieces I think add to the beauty of the overall design.
I've included lots of pictures so you can make sure you love the piece you order.
