I have only had one other piece like this, in over 20 yers, so they are very scarce! And, I have never had a set of 4 pieces!

These medallion / tinsel pieces are actually "necklaces" for your Christmas tree. They fit down over the top of the tree..

(I have made a crude drawing to show you how they fit on your tree, that is the last picture above). They are folk art pieces, hand made, like most of the ornaments from the Victorian era. They have really gorgeous gold and copper mesh tinsel and ribbon. The ribbon is conntected with thinner ribbon across the back that is meant to be hidden in the branches. The medallions are made from paper, with paper backs, covered gold fabric, with springy metal mesh decorations, beads and sequins.

Along the ribbon there are smaller tinsel medallions with large sequin centers and metal stars sewin into place. They are each slightly different.

Three are still intact, while the last one is missing one of the ribbon sides. They are gorgeous pieces, great to display, use on your tree, and have one for other crafts. They are quite large, with the center medallion about 5 long.

The ribbon sides are just over 12. They have wear and amazing patina the aged look things get over time. The ribbon is fragile, and the tinsel has darkened.

They really display beautifully, and have lots of glitz! I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can. I will make sure it's sturdy and the item well packaged. I believe in offering the best customer service. I have a lot of fun doing this, and I want it to be fun for you, as well.
