Vintage Lador Swiss Musical Revolving Electric CHRISTMAS TREE STAND 1950 Working

This is a vintage musical revolving Christmas tree stand, made in Switzerland under the Lador brand name. It dates to around 1950 and is made of quality chrome metal and wood. It has a hand crank for winding it up and plays Silent Night and Adeste Fideles.

It has an electrical cord and plug so that you can plug in your lighting. There is an on-off lever at the side. It is in working condition and aesthetically very good with original lugs and wiring.

The only defect is a bit of worn covering to the electric cord where it meets the unit (see last close-up photo). It measures 13 3/4 in diameter, exclusive of the hand crank, and weighs 6 lbs and 12 oz. The tree trunk holder measures 2 1/4 in diameter, interior dimensions..

The underside is stamped 111 and Made in Switzerland and retains its original song label. The Swiss always produce very nice quality - this is a great stand for your Christmas tree, fun to show off all of your tree while listening to holiday favourites!
