Vintage Christmas Tree Light cord (ceramic sockets) VERY RARE

This is a string of Christmas Light (cord/ sockets only). Sockets are made of ceramic which pre dates Bakelite. This string has 8 sockets all good condition except for 1 that has what appears to be some sort of adhesive or medical tape wrapped around it. The wiring is predominately made of standard copper , wrapped in a "standard" green silk string. There are about 3 areas of fray which makes this string unsafe if plugged in.

Plug appears to be a standard plug with a hand made card board insulator. The cord itself lovely and in overall good but unusable (don't plug in) antique condition. This little gem would be lovely on any tree with accented ornaments but is in NO Condition to be plugged into an outlet.
