Vintage Christmas Tree Fire Extinguisher UNUSED IN BOX

VINTAGE FIRE BALL CHRISTMAS TREE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. This is a fairly unusual Christmas / Fire Memorabilia Item - It is a fire extinguisher specifically designed for a Christmas Tree. Original in the box and unused. Please note that the fluid has been removed from this fire extinguisher (the plastic globe is in tact).

Amazingly, it was originally filled with a very toxic chemical. However the fluid contents have been long ago removed.

Comes complete as seen in the photo. The top box lid is separated from the rear hinge. How this was designed to work: You attached it to the trunk of the Christmas tree and if the tree caught fire, the plastic fuse would burn through and a spring would release and hit the ball and allow the chemical to flow out.
